General Session: Operations Management—Our New Normal; Uncertainty, Complexity & Risk

Presented by: Greg Schlegel

Time: 12:45 PM - 1:30 PM

Join us for a discussion covering our Operations Management New Normal—mitigating and managing uncertainty, complexity and risk across the entire value chain. With the advent of our recent global recession, new competitor innovations, more government regulations, environmental changes, societal pressures and new consumer preferences, we all have become acutely aware of how external conditions can severely impact our business.

Learning Objectives:

  • Get a glimpse of our new normal operations environment which includes mitigating and managing uncertainty, complexity and risk
  • Understand the impacts of the new normal operating environment on our existing operations disciplines, across the entire value chain
  • Get a sense of how we all might leverage existing and new methodologies to effectively navigate our organizations through the new normal operations management environment
